The Mirin Dajo case
In 1947 a Dutchman, Mirin Dajo, demonstrated to audiences in the Corso Theatre in Zurich, that he could allow an assistant to plunge a fencing foil right through his body, even through vital organs, without any apparent harm. Dajo did not bleed at the removal of the foil, and only a faint red line marked where the foil had pierced. A Swiss doctor, Hans Naegeli-Osjord, hearing of Dajo's alleged wild talent, induced him to allow scientific investigation of what happened when he was pierced. In the Zurich Cantonal hospital many people, including doctor Naegeli-Osjord, doctor Werner Brunner, the chief of surgery at the hospital, and a number of other doctors, students, and journalist observed and reported on the experiment. In front of them Dajo stripped to the waist and after spending some time in meditation, had his assistant once more plunge the steel through him.

Canadian farmer admits to killing 49, one short of target - paper
MOSCOW, January 23 (RIA Novosti) - A Canadian farmer has confessed to killing 49 women, one victim short of his target, a leading British broadsheet said Tuesday.
According to The Times, Robert "Willie" Pickton, who runs a pig farm outside the West Coast city of Vancouver, told investigators he had plotted one final murder to bring the tally to 50.
"I was going to do one more and make it an even 50," a prosecutor quoted Pickton as saying in an interview. "I made my own grave by being sloppy."
Pickton, 56, is said to have lured prostitutes and drug addicts from Vancouver's red-light district to parties on his farm. After slaying the victims, he would butcher their remains and feed them to his pigs.
The man was arrested in February 2002 after police visited his farm to search for an unlicensed shotgun only to discover identification cards belonging to some of the missing women, as well as severed body parts and skulls with bullet wounds in them.
Before his confession, Pickton pleaded not guilty to 26 counts of first-degree murder. He is now being tried on the first six counts, with the other 20 charges to be heard at a later trial.

Last night we went to a party at our local senior center.. The last Saturday of every month they have an evening potluck supper. We usually eat, play bingo, reminisce, and drink a little wine and talk about the good ole days....
We heard Selma Martin's grandson is staying with her for a few weeks. It's rumored he got in a scrap over some marijuana with the law out in Phoenix and he came to Williams to avoid the heat. Anyway, Selma is known for her delicious Brownies and she always bakes up a quadruple batch for each get-together. She makes enough for everyone and some for folks to take one home for later. For some reason they were extra good this week and every last one of them was eaten. Not a one left over. We later found out that Selma's grandson, Butch, laced the brownies with some of his marijuana.
Knowing this, I guess it offers a logical reason for everyone feeling good that night. By the time Zeke put on the bunny hop record, everyone was in a real good mood and it was the first time the whole place got up and danced..............
That is until the cops came to check all the noise complaints.

Here is the email that started the whole thing!

After getting this I filed a complaint to IC3 and the buyer sent the item to Paypal.

I get a whole 30 days to make my mind up if I want to send them 1420 dollars for an item they claim to have. I asked for pictures and never got any.
MY ANSWER
Have you determined if the item is in good condition? Have you tested it? Did you make sure all the original parts are there? I already filed a report with IC3 and I listed Paypal as one of the defendants. You let the man file a chargeback before he even sent the item back. This is called fraud and you helped perpetuate it! I have the right to determine if the item is retunable. I also have the right to see my item before I issue any refund. You didnt want to help me at all in the matter, but now you have your
hand out looking for money. Why would I have to pay shipping? The item was not even damaged he wanted to return it because he didnt like it. And that was after he painted it.
Paypal you need a redesign!
Why dont you address my needs and email me for real instead of sending me form letters?

I said no. Well after almost 4 months he won the chargeback! How did paypal let a buyer who admitted he got the item and there was nothing wrong with it other then "not liking it" let the customer do a chargeback and win and keep the item! That's right you let him steal it! As far as I know in order to even start a chargeback you have to return the merchandise. Is this not true? Paypal shame on you again for allowing this to happen to a number of people "THOUSANDS"!!! It's call the reverse paypal scam and everyone knows about it. And to think you even charged me to "FIGHT" on my behalf. And all I get is form letters sent to me. I cant even have a real person talk to me about my case, you simply cop and paste your answers and that is SAD so SAD. What happened to EBAY and PAYPAL? Got to big for your own good I guess.'

Boy hangs himself 'like Saddam'
Multan - A young boy who tried to copy hanging scenes from the execution video of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein died in central Pakistan, said police on Monday.
Mubashar Ali, 9, hanged himself, while re-enacting Hussein's hanging with the help of elder sister, 10, after tying a rope to a ceiling fan and his neck in his home in Rahim Yar Khan district on Sunday, said a local police official.
The father of the deceased boy said that his children had been watching the video of Saddam Hussein's execution on television and attempted to imitate the hanging as other family members thought they were playing in another room.
"My wife and sister rushed to rescue Mubashar when children cried for help from the adjoining room, but he died due to hanging," said Alamgir Paracha, father of Mubashar.
Police said that the death was accidental and a case of parental negligence.
"It was an accident which happened due to carelessness of parents," said district police chief Sultan Ahmad.
Images of the fallen Iraqi dictator with a strap around his neck, surrounded by executioners in balaclavas, were repeatedly telecast by Pakistani television channels at the weekend.
Commentators and the media across Europe had expressed shock and unease on Sunday at graphic television pictures showing the last moments of Hussein just before his execution.
